In life, we meet different people but they are often defined by similar characters and personalities. Some like to be friendly while there are others who find joy in taking advantage of others.
No one likes to be taken advantage of and it is a terrible feeling especially when your loved ones are the ones who take advantage of you. If strangers do that, it’s easier to walk away but how does one walk away from families and friends?
Sometimes, we build our own invisible castles and may become cynical of anyone who simply is being real nice to you without any motives. However, we are being taken advantage of daily without realising it. We go to work because we need to, not because we love to. Those who love their work are the ones who can do it for free.
In some ways, we make use of people to our benefits; to get that position at work, to find a decent paying job, to get that spouse, and just about other things. Including getting something cheaper.
