The basic thing is that everyone wants happiness, no one wants suffering. And happiness mainly comes from our own attitude, rather than from external factors. If your own mental attitude is correct, even if you remain in a hostile atmosphere, you feel happy. ~ Dalai Lama [Source]

What makes your day is how you choose to make it. Each morning, when you wake up, you have two choices; happy or unhappy. It’s how you choose to feel that will make your day. Jeff Keller akins our attitude to being a window to our world. We can refuse to clean that window and be deluded into thinking that the world is a scary place. His book; Attitude Is Everything, can be found here. Check out his video previews.

Attitude brings results and this example about a hairstylist asking in interest of the client is a good example. All we need is a little patience in changing our attitudes. It will help us in the long term as the world will look brighter each day. Smiles are easy to use since we feel good about ourselves and will attract like-minded people who feel good or want to feel good too.

Below I will share with you the following about attitudes.

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, “My son, the battle is between two “wolves” inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

What’s your attitude today?
