Do You Fear Change?
April 10, 2008 | 5 Comments
Upon graduation, we have to work. When some of us may not be able to clinch that dream job, we work part time to supplement the income or will the time away while looking for that permanent position in some company.
We hope to have an understanding boss, manageable workload and good pay. We may not be able to be as rich as Bill Gates or Warren Buffet but we do hope to have a stable income every month. We just want to be able to afford the living standards.

After observing the changes, do we still believe in job security? Could we be losing our jobs in the years to come once the trend has died? The Internet created jobs for some groups of people but judging from the graphs, soon, these people may lose their jobs in a few years or shorter depending on the trend.
Do we have the adaptability to keep on making money? Business owners have to keep up with the trends or their businesses will be closed down. White papers on how Amazon and Dell have managed to keep their businesses afloat are being used. Studies on companies that are more than 50 years old have also been done.
From these, can we be like them? Can we be sustainable and adaptable? Will we be worrying if our next meal will arrive when we are not working? Do we have enough savings to live on? Change is the only constant event. Humans need a change in work routine or they will soon leave the company.
Working for others means you have to be adaptable, just look at the job descriptions. Will we be able to adapt to changes or will we sit and whine about how the world is neglecting us?
Situations That May Affect Us
Cars are no longer being manufactured. What happens to the workers? What will happen to those we rely on cars?
The water is no longer clean to be drunk from the spring. What will happen to us and the plants? Will we die from thirst? Will the animals die? Do we have to filter the water for everything?
There isn’t enough sand. What happens to buildings that will be built? What happens to the ones being built?
Sea level rises. Will the lands that is near the sea be flooded? Will there be less land? Will there be overcrowding in areas that are above the sea level?
These are just some of the situations that may affect us. With rising petrol prices and wheat, these have created a chain reaction in living standards and food prices.
