Habits for Success

Habits. Something that each of us has. We do a certain routine because we have been doing it for more than a dozen times. Our parents do it this way, so it must work. Positive thinking makes success. Success is made with our own thinking. Success doesn’t depend on others. You may be selling a wonderful product according to you but is anyone buying it?
We look at Bill Gates (Microsoft giant), Michael Dell (Dell Computers), Steve Jobs (Apple) and other billionaires. What is their recipe for exponential income? Is there a secret? Or is it due to habits? What makes them tick? Do habits really make a man?
Besides habits that provide the path to success, there are also habits that may prevent you from gaining success. So, what are some of the habits of successful people? Know your essential habits for success:
- Set objectives.
- Plan ahead.
- Remain flexible.
- Be on time.
The above aren’t that difficult, are they? Alex Shalman has provided his 10 daily habits for success. Obviously spending time with positive people do help you to keep your heads up. I have spent time with negative people only to feel depressed immensely and unable to see anything worth looking forward to. That was one low point in my life.
After finding myself being pessimistic for too long, 3 months was simply too much, I was so relieved that the person decided I wasn’t the same ‘type’ by talking to me less. I’m not saying you should stay away from such people totally but just be aware of yourself if you start feeling down on most days. Life can’t be that bad if you have a family and a job that you can perform in.
Success may not necessary mean monetary returns. Happiness is also part of success. You have a united family you can depend on in times of trouble, friends who help you immediately upon learning of your situation and a boss who understands you.
