Our Inner Selves

Water is something that we need everyday to survive. We must have clean water in order to cleanse away the toxics in our bodies. While using Stumble Upon one day, I came across the article on water crystals. It was discovered my D.r. Masaru Emoto who took photographs of frozen water in different environment.
It was a research on how the crystals would form after freezing. In a harsh environment, the crystal would be messed up. Water crystals from Japan Shimanto River were beautifully formed on the other hand. This research goes to show that we humans, homo sapiens would also be affected by the environment.
We change according to suit the environment. In order to get promoted, we will polish apples (curry favour, flatter, etc) to get to the position that we crave for. While we may appear innocent, our inner selves may not be that innocent after all.
Life has adversities. How we overcome it is controllable, unlike water. Water flows where there is a path for it to flow. We may not be able to change others but we can change ourselves. Remember the story of Carrot, Egg and Coffee? It’s about how we change according to the environment.
So, who do you want to be?
