I See Your True Colours: Do You Know Who Are Your Real Friends?
November 20, 2008 | Leave a Comment
A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked. ~ Bernard Meltzer ~ [Source]
In life, we start making friends along the way starting from the time we attend school till the time we start working. Celebrating birthdays with friends are supposed to be happy occasions, right? Wrong. Imagine thinking that attending school would be some normal routines with some pranks thrown along the way. However, you end up being tied up to the poles and taunted in public.
Some of the differences between real and simple friends:
- A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party.
- A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.
- A simple friend hates it when you call after she has gone to bed.
- A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.
- A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems.
- A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
True friends will make the time for you when you need a drink. They won’t ask you questions and will wait until you decide to tell them. You don’t have to worry about keeping anything from them as they won’t be critical of you.
Do you know who your real friends are?
