Life Without Limbs

What if you’re a really good person, but you get into a really, really bad fight and your leg gets gangrene and it has to be amputated. Will it be waiting for you in heaven? ~ Nancy Cartwright ~ [Source]

Ever wondered how that one legged man managed to get through to places with just a crutch? How about that wheelchair bound lady? Have you seen a young boy with one of his arms just ending near the elbow? How about a man without a right arm?

It awaits you

What if you were born limbless, no arms or legs like Nick Vujicic? The doctors were unable to understand or explain why he was born that way. Imagine being bullied at school and contemplating suicide because of the taunts.

Can you imagine life without limbs so that you can’t walk, run or hug your loved ones? Think about those who may have legs but are wheelchair bound due to childhood polio. Think about your mother who gave birth to you despite being one-legged due to cancer eating away at her leg.

Lifts exist so that those who are unable to climb up or down the stairs will be having an easier time in tall buildings. Ramps are built so that wheels will be able to go up a step. Traffic lights exists so that those who are unable to climb the overhead bridge will be able to cross the road.

Can you imagine life without limbs? How would you live your life to the fullest despite the flaws?

I was so depressed with my problems before, but when I saw the Nick Vujicic’s video, I realize that we need to thank God for all we have, and never give up. We have arms, legs and power to stand up, no matter life would let us down.
Congratulations for Nick Vujicic. He is a inspiration for me now.
