What Steve Pavlina had done was to create something that he was familiar with. He has done so with success for 13 years and going strong. Forex trading, investments, property trading are lucrative but how familiar are you with them? Do you have the passion it takes to do them for life?

How about those money making schemes that are making their rounds since jobs were created? With the internet, the spread has been even more rampant with scams sprouting up striking fear in those who have been cheated of their hard-earned money before.

As mentioned before, you need multiple streams of income. However, it doesn’t mean that you should be a Jack of all trades. Merely, leverage on your knowledge and skills if you are starting out for the first time. Once you get the ball rolling, you can learn new skills. If you have vast knowledge in trading, why not write articles at HubPages, EZine Articles or Helium? These are small starts.

HubPages even allows you to add in your affiliates with Adsense, Amazon, eBay and Kontera. You get to use Google Analytics to track your traffic.

EZine Articles allows you to share your knowledge and link to your own site.

Helium is similar to EZine Articles whereby the amount of traffic translate to money earned. The higher your traffic, the better earnings you get. By inviting friends, you get to earn commission too. In addition, there are contests all year round to win more cash for yourself. Love to donate? Your articles can even make the donations for you based on your settings for each article.

Affiliates are also a hot favourite as you don’t have to monitor anything except to promote the products or services that you feel is of relevance to your visitors.

Blog Advertising used to be a good source of steady income but when a site is cluttered with advertisements, it turns off readers and the traffic is heavily affected.

Selling handmade stuff has grown immensely popular when Etsy took off.

Most of the time, finding opportunities means having trial and error to find which venture works and which doesn’t.

With so many ways to make money without a job, have you made use of the opportunities to do something?
