Done is better than perfect. ~ Scott Allen ~ [Source]
There is a song that you have in your head. As a song writer, you want that song to be perfect and accepted by the mass. You have written the song and the lyrics. You play it but feel it isn’t that good yet. You keep changing the melody and the lyrics. 5 weeks have passed but the song isn’t heard by the mass yet. Your manager is asking when you will be ready.
Authors face the same issue too. The book must have the perfect storyline. The sentences must be perfect. Everything must be perfect. The story is still halfway done as the changes are made to the first few chapters everyday. A year passed but the book still isn’t ready for publishing.
For someone who has passion for Mathematics, everything must be a perfect score. Perfection is the key. It would ruin the whole paper if the expected score isn’t achieved. Do you want the perfect child? Do you want to sing in perfect tune every time?
How much do you crave to be perfect?

Small doses is the key for perfectionism… otherwise it can totally stall your development, productivity, growth and advancement and enjoyment in life.
The bottom line is there is no such thing as perfect — we may think there is but there isn’t. Perfect is only a perception not a reality.

Agreed. There isn’t such a thing as perfect since there will be some flaws along the way but life still goes on. The clock will always be ticking and the world will still turn at the axis.
