After hearing from friends frequently about having a “normal life”, one keeps wondering what it means. To friends, it means that being able to eat, sleep and play games for the rest of the lifetime. For others, it means being able to spend time with family without worrying about work all the time. Yet, it can also mean being able to bring the whole family for travelling when the kids are on school holidays.
Interestingly, none of the routine includes working for the rest of their lives. In fact, most would want to be able to get out of jobs and still be able to upkeep the lifestyle. Yet, how many of us are able to do what we truly want in life? How many of us are willing to give up the job that keeps the currently lifestyle?
In order to have a Normal Life, Chris and Pamela went on a crime spree just to maintain their lifestyle, or rather, Pam’s luxurious dreams. A rather short lived life since police is always after them. One can’t fault them for wanting the best in life. That’s what everyone would like to have. It’s human to be selfish in this way. No one can be faulted for that.
